This vintage horseshoe charm has lovely detailing to the front and is pointing downwards which is said to 'shower' the good luck out of the horseshoe when you wear it. Such a sweet lucky charm to wear mixed in with other charms and talismans or on its own as a simple, classic pendant.
The charm is made of rolled gold, marked 'ROLLED GOLD' to the back. This means the charm is made of base metal and the front of the horseshoe has a thin gold layer adhered to it to give the look of solid gold but without the price tag.
The charm measures approx 13.4mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 10.2mm wide by approx 0.6mm deep and the charm weighs approx 0.4g in total. It has lovely raised detailing to the front and is plain to the back. The charm is hollow in the middle.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear. There is surface wear and some visible scratches to the rolled gold front layer. The 'ROLLED GOLD' mark to the back is worn away in places to the back and there is also some tarnishing to the base metal visible at the back. The jump ring is currently pushed closed.
