ABOUT KATE GOLD
Starting as a blog in 2010, Kate began sharing her latest jewellery finds and her most coveted gem wishlists.

As her collection grew, so did the interest in her blog posts, and as Kate hunted for more pieces, she realised she couldn't keep everything she found to herself. Selling the odd piece from her personal collection, Kate realised that she could really do her bit to save so many precious pieces from being sold for scrap or being lost and forgotten.

And so our mission began to save treasures of the past, one piece at a time.

Formally known as Heart of Solid Gold, Kate rebranded in 2018 to Kate Gold, a name that represents her aim of personally curating antique and vintage jewellery and accessories.
ABOUT KATE
Since Kate was a little girl, she's loved collecting anything small and shiny. Her love of collecting small pebbles and shells whilst on holiday grew with her throughout the years - spurred on by being able to play dress up with her mother and grandmother's jewellery boxes.

Fast forward a few years and Kate began forming her own jewellery collection - starting with silver and semi precious rings and bangles, she quickly began to discover gold Victorian and Georgian pieces and her love of all things old and sentimental really began to take hold.
Today she spends her days along with her mother scouring antique markets and auctions across the globe, searching for hidden gems to share in our online collection.
