This vintage gold bear charm can't help but make us smile whenever we look at it! The bear has the most wonderful details throughout, it even has a slightly grumpy looking expression.
The charm is made of 9ct gold, it has two marks to one side but they are a little worn and now quite hard to read. One looks to be a maker's mark and the other looks as if it could include the number '9' for 9ct gold. It's hard to date the charm exactly without clear marks but we think it's likely circa 1940s/50s in age.
The charm measures approx 12.7mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 20mm wide nose to tail by approx 5.6mm deep and weighs approx 1.3g in total. The charm is hollow in the centre and there is an airhole to the underneath.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear. There is some surface wear to the gold with some old dark solder marks and the gold is a mixture off rose and yellow tones. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
