'Fill your cup' - we can't help but think of this important phrase whenever we look at this sweet 1950s gold charm. It's a wearable reminder to look after yourself, both physically and mentally, and that you cannot 'pour from an empty cup' meaning you must take care of yourself to be able to take care of the ones you love. 

The charm is made in three dimension, so it stands on its own as a cup would. It's made of 9ct gold with British hallmarks to the bottom for the maker 'C&F', 9ct gold, Birmingham and the date letter 'f' for 1955. There is also a hand scratched mark above the hallmarks that's hard to read, likely an old stock mark/reference. 

The charm weighs approx 0.8g and measures approx 10.8mm tall by approx 12.6mm wide (not including the jump ring but including the ring the jump ring attaches to) by approx 9.8mm deep.

Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show some signs of age and wear, including surface wear to the gold and the top of the cup is a little out of round. As mentioned above, there is a hand scratched mark to the bottom that looks to be an old stock mark. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos
