This vintage brooch features a sweet horseshoe nestled within a crescent moon. Both the horseshoe and moon are studded with seed pearls, and within the horseshoe is a small colourful opal too.

The brooch is made of 10ct gold, marked '10K' to the back. The gold has a warm, rosey tone to it.

The brooch measures approx X wide by approx X tall by approx X deep and weighs approx 1.1g in total. The brooch has a simple pin fastening to the back.

Condition - The brooch is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear, including surface wear to gold, seed pearls and opal. One of the seed pearls shows signs of being reset and glue residue around the pearl is visible. There is what looks to be a small chip to he edge of the opal but it is secure in its setting when looked at using a loupe. It looks as though this could be the opal’s shape before setting. The pin mechanism still works well. Please see photos.
