A timeless classic, this vintage padlock is such a versatile piece to add to your jewellery box. It's so rare to find a padlock that actually opens and closes with a key too! The latch only opens when the key is inserted into the lock and turned.

Often used as clasps for charm bracelets, these padlocks can also be added onto chains and worn as a pendant and you can even add charms to them and use them as little charm holders too!

With this one having a key, you could even split the two, with your loved one wearing the heart padlock and the person who holds the key to your heart wearing the key!

The padlock and key are made of base metal, with the padlock looking to have a light gold wash to the metal to give it more of a gold tone/colouring. The padlock has wonderful chased/engraved detailing throughout, even the sides have been decorated.

The padlock measures approx 16mm tall by approx 11.9mm wide by approx 4.5mm deep. The key measures approx 12.8mm tall by approx 5.4mm wide 1.8mm deep. The padlock and key together weigh approx 2.6g.

Condition - The padlock and key are in good working order but both do show signs of age and wear, including surface wear to the wash on the padlock with some dark marks in places to bot the front and back. Please see photos.
