This vintage turquoise nugget charm/pendant can't help but make us think of crisp blue oceans. The colour is such a vibrant blue, it really pops against the gold fittings and would look lovely mixed in with other gold charms. It would also make a great birthstone piece for a December baby too! 
 
The turquoise nugget has a lovely freeform shape where the matrix (the dark coloured areas which are what's also known as the 'host rock', the rock that the turquoise has formed within) can be seen throughout. These have occurred naturally when the turquoise was forming. The stone has been smoothed into a lovely, pebble like shape has been drilled down the middle so that a 9ct gold wire and jump ring (tested, it's unhallmarked) could be added to turn it into a wearable piece. 
 
The turquoise measures approx 14.7mm tall (not including the fittings) by approx 12.5mm wide by approx 5.8mm deep and the piece weighs approx 1.9g in total.  
 
Condition - The turquoise is in good vintage condition with some light signs of age and wear, including some light surface wear to the stone. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
