This sweet vintage silver and enamel London shield charm would make the perfect addition to a collection to if it's your home town, or perhaps you've visited or have family from the English city!
We love the vibrant enamel depicting the City of London flag - based on the flag of England with a centred red St George's cross on a white background with a tiny sword in the top left hand corner. The sword is said to represent the sword that beheaded Saint Paul, the patron saint of the city.
The charm is made of sterling silver and is marked 'SILVER' to the back. The charm weighs approx 2.15g and measures approx 21.2mm tall (not including the jump ring) by 16mm wide.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some surface wear to the silver and the enamel. The enamel overall is in good condition. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
