This vintage silver figa talisman charm is such a sweet petite size. Despite it's size, the hand is has lots of lovely details and would fit perfectly in a charm collection with other talisman themed pieces.
The hand gesture has a variety of meanings (including considered by some as being quite a risque, obscene gesture!) dating back centuries, with one of the most common being a symbol of protection against evil, making figas great wearable talismans if you're looking for a little good luck.
The charm is made of silver, the cham itself isn't hallmarked but has been tested.
The charm measures approx 16mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 5.4mm wide by approx 2.8mm deep and weighs approx 0.85g in total.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear. There is surface wear to the silver. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
