Vintage and antique egg charms are highly collectable and this is the first we've ever found set with a rose cut diamond!
The charm is made of silver, and a small rose cut diamond has been set to one side with a gold washed setting/bezel. There is a mark to the ring at the top that looks to be '86'. There are also marks to the attached jump ring too but these are hard to read clearly.
The charm measures approx 17.8mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 10mm wide by approx 10.8mm deep and weighs approx 1.5g in total. It is hollow in the centre and there is an airhole to the bottom
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear. There is surface wear to the silver throughout, the bottom of the egg has tarnishing, some indents and dark marks and is slightly yellower in tone. There is a hole to the bottom of the egg from when the charm was made. There is also some wear to the diamond. The jump ring is currently soldered closed. Please see photos.
