Vintage enamel charms are one of our absolute favourites to find and we couldn't believe our eyes when we found a complete set of eight charms representing Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs!
This listing is for the dwarf, Doc who is known as the leader of the group and represents wisdom and responsibility! We believe the charm dates to the 1950s and could have been modelled on the famous Cartier solid gold and enamel Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs charm bracelet that was released in the 1930s to celebrate the release of the first ever Disney feature film.
The charm is made of base metal and the front features the beautiful enamel detailing. The jump ring is made of 9ct yellow gold and is new.
The charm measures approx 20.7mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 13.4mm wide by approx 1.6mm deep and weighs approx 1.45g.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition for its age but it does show signs of age and wear to both the metal and enamel. The enamel does have some small nibbling and surface wear. There are some chips to the enamel too, mainly to the bottom where the name is and also to one arm. There is also wear to the base metal at the back. The 9ct gold jump ring is currently pushed closed and is new. Please see photos.
