This vintage 9ct gold globe charm actually turns and depicts Australia, North America, South America, Europa, Africa and Asia (some of these names are abbreviated to fit). The charm is such a fabulous large size and weighs 5g.
The charm is made of 9ct yellow gold with British hallmarks to the jump ring for the maker 'IBB', 9ct gold and the Sheffield Assay Office import mark.
The charm weighs approx 5g (the globe is hollow in the centre) and measures approx 25.7mm tall (not including the jump ring). The frame measures approx 21.6mm in diameter and the globe measures approx 16.8mm in diameter.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear to the gold including some surface wear. The globe is attached via a gold pole in the centre which as well as turning, the globe can move slightly up and down this pole. The jump ring is currently soldered closed. Please see photos.
