This is one of the most unusual pieces we've ever found! A heavyweight base metal pig that is wonderfully detailed and has a Stanhope lens inside. The pig's mouth is open which lets in light to the Stanhop lens and when you peer through the lens at the back end of the pig, under the tail, inside a lady's erotic photo is revealed that is rather raunchy! (We've taken a photo of the image inside and have added hearts to hide her modesty online.)
The pig would likely have been worn on a watch chain and given its unsuspecting design of a pig, no one would know when it is worn that it holds a erotic/raunchy image inside.
The charm measures approx 14.6mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 23.7mm wide by approx 9.8mm deep and weighs approx 12g in total.
The pig is made of base metal that has had some kind of gold coloured plating to the outside.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show considerable signs of age and wear including surface wear to the plating and metal. In places, the plating has worn away leaving the silver coloured metal underneath. The image inside can be seen when the pig is held up to light and viewed from under the pig's tail. There is some age and wear to the image inside. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
