There's something so satisfying about a perfectly round piece of jewellery and this vintage 1960s gold tone locket is such a fabulous spherical gem! It has a line pattern around the middle which makes it look a lot like a cricket ball too.

Ball-shaped lockets like these make great wearable little storage vessels due to their depth, unlike the usual thinner style lockets often found.

The locket is spherical with wonderful line detailing around the middle. The locket is gold tone, it isn't made of gold, which means it's made out of a base metal with a gold coloured top layer.

The locket measures approx 20mm in diameter (approx 28mm tall including the fitting and jump ring at the top) and weighs approx 6.25g in total.

Condition - The locket is in good vintage condition but does show significant signs of age and wear. Both the inside and outside of the locket have dark tarnish marks in places and surface wear including some small scratches and dents. The hinge mechanism still works well and the ball pushes firmly closed but the two halves of the circle don’t perfectly meet. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.

*Please note the chain and box pictured are not included in the sale but the charm will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch.*
