A timeless classic, this gold padlock is such a sweet piece to add to your jewellery box. Often used as clasps for charm bracelets, these padlocks can also be added onto chains and worn as a pendant/charm too. They can even be used as charm holders!
The padlock is made of gold, marked for what looks to be 9ct to the bar that sits inside the padlock. The front of the padlock has lovely faux screw and keyhole detailing. The lever opens by pulling upwards and closes with a click so it is nice and secure when worn.
The padlock measures approx 22.9mm tall by approx 14.7mm wide by approx 3.7mm deep and weighs approx 2.7g.
Condition - The padlock is in good vintage condition with some surface wear to the gold throughout including some surface scratches and dents. The hinge mechanism works well and the lever pulls open and pushes closed with a click. Please see photos.
