We love finding spinner pendants and fobs as they often mean you have two pendants in one. This beautiful spinner is a lovely, large size and features two completely different stones giving two different looks.
To the one side is a slice of ocean jasper with pretty shades of purples and greys and the other side has a slice of chalcedony that looks to have been dyed to give it a tree like look, similar to dendritic agate where the pattern forms naturally (in this stone the tree like pattern is man-made).
The pendant itself is gold filled, meaning it is base metal with a top layer of gold adhered to it to give the appearance of solid gold but without the price tag.
The pendant weighs approx 10.2g in total and measures approx 33.7mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 28.1mm wide by approx 9.7mm deep. The spinner section measures approx 23.3mm in diameter.
Condition - The pendant is in good overall vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear including surface wear to the stones and gold fill, and some loss to the gold fill in places where the base metal is now showing through. When held up, the spinner sits horizontally due to the weight and design of it but when laid flat against the skin when worn you can push the fob so that your preferred side is showing. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos
*Please note the antique box and chain pictured are not included in the sale but the pendant will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch.*
