We love signet rings, their designs are often so timeless making them classic pieces to add to your jewellery box for years to come.
 
This sweet vintage signet ring is made of 18ct gold, unhallmarked but tested, and has a lovely buttery yellow tone to the gold. The face features what looks to be a dog sitting proudly with one paw raised. We like to think it was going to give it's owner a handshake! 
 
Ring size - the ring measures approx a UK O / approx a US 7.25 on a ring mandrel (please note that due to the width of the ring's face it can wear a little snugger than this on the finger)
 
The ring weighs approx 6.5g and the face measures approx 13.4mm by 10mm and the shank tapers down to approx 2.7mm wide at the back of the shank.
 
Condition - The ring is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear. There is surface wear to the gold including surface scratches which gives the ring a worn and lived in feel. The dog image to the front has worn away in places and some of the details are now a little harder to make out clearly. Please see photos.
