This pretty vintage gold horseshoe charm is beautifully decorated with eleven coral cabochons and the horseshoe is pointing downwards which is said to 'shower' the good luck out of the horseshoe when you wear it. Such a pretty lucky charm/pendant to wear mixed in with other charms and talismans or on its own as a simple, classic pendant.
The horseshoe tests as at least 9ct gold (it is unhallmarked). We think it could have started life as an antique stick pin or brooch which has been converted into a pendant/charm at some point in time.
The charm measures approx 23.2mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 18.1mm wide by approx 4mm deep and the charm weighs approx 3g in total.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear, including surface wear to the gold and coral. Some of the coral have small dark marks to the stones in places. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos
