Whether you know them as ladybirds or ladybugs, we can't help but love to spot these colourful creatures in our garden! They are considered by many to be symbols of good luck, with some people even believing that the number of spots predicts how many years of good luck you'll have if they land on you!
We love the vibrant enamel used to decorate this ladybird charm, it really makes her pop when worn with other gold and silver charms.
The charm is made of silver, with a gold wash to the back and a 9ct gold jump ring, the charm is unhallmarked.
The charm measures approx 12.6mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 7.6mm wide by approx 2.9mm deep and weighs approx 0.6g. The charm is hollow in the centre and there is a small air hole to the back from when the charm was made.
Condition - The charm is in good wearable vintage condition but the enamel is worn and has chipped away in places. There is a small chip to the left hand side of the shell (next the the middle black dot) and there is a larger chip to the right hand side of the shell (where the black dot area is now missing). The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
*Please note the box and chain pictured are not included in the sale but the charm will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch.*
