This vintage figa talisman charm is such an unusual piece. Made of clear quartz that has been carved to look like a clenched fist, it also has small gold details including a bracelet.
The hand gesture has a variety of meanings (including considered by some as being quite a risque, obscene gesture!) dating back centuries, with one of the most common being a symbol of protection against evil, making them a great wearable talisman if you're looking for a little good luck.
The hand is made of clear quartz and there's a bracelet and a cap of the end of the arm that the jump ring connects to which are all made of yellow gold that tests as 9ct.
The charm measures approx 32mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 6.1mm wide by approx 5.2mm deep and weighs approx 1.6g in total.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear. There is surface wear to the quartz and and to the gold. The jump ring is currently soldered closed. Please see photos.
*Please note the box and chain pictured are not included in the sale but the charm will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch.*
