We often fall in love with banded agate whenever we see it - the natural stripes are so beautiful and we love the contrasting colours of the stone. This banded agate has such lovely colours of greys, whites and browns and as the stone has naturally formed, the patterns are different to both sides. 

The heart has been drilled near the top and fitted with a small gold bail, unhallmarked, so it can be worn as a pendant. 

The pendant measures approx 29.5mm tall (including the bail) by approx 23mm wide by approx 7mm deep and weighs approx 5.3g in total.

Condition - The pendant is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear. There is surface wear and a chip to the agate to one side of the heart (shown in picture five) and there is age and wear to the gold bail fitting. Please see photos.
