If Autumn is your favourite season, then this vintage gold acorn charm could be the perfect piece for you! We love how it instantly makes us think of the changing leaves and finding acorns and chesnuts on cosy walks, all wrapped up.

We think the charm also beautifully symbolises the proverb 'mighty oaks from little acorns grow'. Symbolising potential and growth, this charm would make a really lovely symbolic piece if you're perhaps starting a new chapter in your life. 

The charm is made of gold with a lovely rose, warm tone/colouring. There is a faint mark to one side that looks to read '10c'. The charm tests as at least 9ct gold. There is also what looks to be a maker's mark but this is now to rubbed to read clearly. Without clearer marks, it's hard to date exactly but we think it's likely circa 1940s/50s in age.

The charm has beautiful detailing and is hollow in the centre, weighing approx 1.1g, and measures approx 17.4mm tall (not including the jump ring but including the ring at the top) by approx 9.4mm wide.

Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear including surface wear to the gold. As mentioned above, the gold marks are now quite worn and hard to read clearly. The dimpling detailing is also now a little worn and smoothed over in places. The acorn is quite rosey and warm in tone, the jump ring is more yellow in colour. The jump ring is currently soldered closed. Please see photos.
