This little vintage gold wheelbarrow charm is such a cutie. We love how it has been made in three dimension, it would be perfect for someone who's green fingered, perhaps a gardener or veggie grower, or maybe you work in construction!
The charm is made of 9ct yellow gold, marked '9ct' to the inside of the wheelbarrow. Without further hallmarks, it's hard to date the charm exactly but we think it's likely circa 1950s in age.
The charm measures approx 16.8mm long (not including the jump ring) by approx 8mm wide by approx 8.2mm tall and weighs approx 0.7g in total.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show some signs of age and wear, including some surface wear to the gold. Below the 9ct hallmark there is some hand scratched marks, one that looks to read 'SE', these are only really visible on close inspection. Please note that the wheel is fixed and doesn’t move/turn. The jump ring is soldered closed and has worn a little in places, along with the ring it attaches to on the charm. Please see photos.
