This vintage gold mouse charm makes us think of a wonderful sweet we used to eat as a child - sugar mice! The charm is wonderfully detailed and features a very cute pointed nose and two little rounded ears.
 
The charm is made of 9ct gold with British hallmarks to the bottom. These have now rubbed and worn away, the maker's mark 'G&H' and the 9ct gold hallmark can just about still be made out. Without the assay office and date letter hallmark, it's hard to date the charm exactly but we believe it's circa 1950s/60s. 
 
The charm measures approx 27.3mm long (not including the jump ring) by approx 13.3mm wide by approx 5.5mm tall and the charm weighs approx 1.4g in total. The charm is hollow to the middle and there are two airholes to either side of the mouse near the front legs.
 
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show some signs of age and wear. There is surface wear to the gold throughout, including a dent/ding to the mouse's back and the hallmarks have worn underneath. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. The ring the jump ring connects to is now a little worn. Please see photos.
