Opals have to be one of our all time favourite stones. Just look at those colour flashes! This beautiful little round opal has such pretty pops of colour when the light catches it at different angles, including blues and oranges - it's like staring through a porthole at a little rainbow.

The opal is set in a gold frame that tests as at least 9ct gold, the gold is unhallmarked.

The charm measures approx 7.8mm in diameter (approx 11.8mm tall including the jump ring and fitting) by approx 4.1mm deep. The charm weighs approx 0.35g. 

Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show some signs of age and wear including surface wear to the opal and gold. The opal is set fairly level in the setting to the front but the flat back of the opal has been cut at an angle so the back of the stone sits at an angle within the setting. We believe the stone is glued in place. The jump ring is currently soldered closed. Please see photos.
