'I will love you more today than yesterday but less than tomorrow'
 
This romantic vintage gold ring would be such a subtle love token to gift to that special someone in your life or maybe even to gift to yourself as a reminder to be kind and love yourself!
 
With the sweet message above subtly debossed into the ring (not engraved as it was likely made by casting) and it's smooth domed shape, the love message is subtle and can only really be read when closely inspected so it's not too obvious when worn. We love a subtle piece like this as it makes it all the more special to wear and cherish.
 
The ring is made of 9ct yellow gold and has British hallmarks inside the shank for 9ct gold and the Sheffield assay mark. The ring doesn't have a date hallmark (these were no longer mandatory after the UK hallmarking act was brought into place in 1973) so it was made post 1973, we think likely in the 1980s or 1990s. There is also a maker's mark but it's hard to make out clearly.
 
Ring size - approx a US 6.5 / approx a UK N. The ring has a domed front which is concave underneath and the ring is quite wide so it may wear slighly snugger or looser than it measures up at, depending on your finger size and shape.
 
The front measures approx 8mm wide tapering down to approx 3.5mm wide at the back. The ring weighs approx 2.6g in total.
 
Condition - The ring is in good vintage condition with just some light surface wear to the gold and some fine scratches from wear. There is a little rubbing to the lettering, mostly to the top line to the words 'you' and more'. Please see photos.
