We love finding chains that look as pretty worn on their own as the do with charms or pendants added to them. This vintage 9ct gold belcher/rolo link chain is great for layering and is a fabulous length too, measuring just under 32 inches.
The chain is made of 9ct gold and has British hallmarks near the clasp for the Sheffield import mark, 9ct gold and the date letter 'H' for 1982. There is also what looks to be an Italian maker's mark too. It has a bolt ring/C clasp.
The chain measures just under 32 inches long including the clasp, approx 31 3/4 inches. The link measures approx 3.7mm wide. The chain weighs approx 12.95g in total.
Condition - The chain is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear, including surface wear to the gold. Some of the links have been soldered together in places, likely earlier repairs. The bolt ring clasp is still sprung and works well, it may not be original to the chain. Please see photos.
