This is such a sweet gold brooch. Made of 9ct gold, the brooch features raised detailing to the front that reads 'Baby'. There also a sweet flower detail to each side too. We wonder if it was made as a Christening gift, it would make such a sentimental gift still today.
The brooch is made of 9ct gold, marked '9CT' to the back along with the maker's mark 'AJS'. The pin is made of base metal.
The brooch weighs approx 1.9g and measures approx 33mm wide by 8mm tall by approx 5mm deep including the pin and fittings. There are two airholes to the back from when the charm was made, it is hollow in the centre.
Condition - The brooch is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear including surface wear and tarnishing to the gold throughout. There are some dents to the gold in places. The pin is a little misshapen. Please see photos.
