Opals have to be one of our all time favourite stones. Just look at those colour flashes! This beautiful opal has such pretty pops of colour when the light catches it at different angles, including blues, greens and oranges - it's like staring through a porthole at a galaxy! 
 
The opal is set in a 9ct gold claw setting that is marked '9ct' to the back.
 
The charm measures approx 16.6mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 8.5m wide by approx 4mm deep. The charm weighs approx 0.8g. 
 
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with just some very light surface wear to the opal that is only really visible under magnification. The opal has some white natural inclusions that look a little like clouds. There are some dark marks to the gold from old solder marks. mainly to the edges. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
