This sweet vintage gold envelope charm actually opens! What's more, there is even just enough room inside to hold a little love letter, photo or memento. 
 
The envelope is wonderfully detailed to the front and is set with a small garnet. The charm is made of 9ct gold, unhallmarked but tested, and has a lovely warm rose to the gold to the outside and a yellower tone to the gold on the inside. 
 
The charm measures approx 14.8mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 18.9mm wide by aprox 3mm deep and weighs approx 1.65g in total.
 
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some surface wear to the gold throughout and also the garnet. The inside of the charm has quite  a few scratches and some hand scratched marks The jump ring is currently soldered closed. The envelope hinge still works well, the flap does click closed but there is some movement in the flap when the charm is closed. Please see photos.
