We can't help but fall for a vintage gold dog charms when we see one, regardless of the breed! This vintage gold charm has the sweetest enamel detailing to the front depicting a white and brown Airedale terrier wearing a red collar.
The charm is made of 9ct gold and has a British hallmark on the back for 9ct gold. Without further marks it's hard to date the charm exactly but we think it's likely circa 1940s/50s in age.
The charm measures approx 11.9mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 9.8mm wide by approx 1.3mm deep and weighs approx 0.9g in total.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some signs of age and wear, including some surface wear to the gold and enamel. The enamel is overall in good condition for its age but it has worn in places, including to the bottom of one of the back legs. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
