Said to symbolise strength, resilience and tenacity, this unusual vintage pendant/charm features a carving of a yak. We love that it could be a symbolic piece to add to your collection, perhaps you need a wearable reminder of how strong you really are!
 
The pendant features a carved piece of hardstone featuring a yak with large horns and some decorative detail too including a star. 
 
The hardstone is set in a 9ct gold frame, marked '9ct' twice along the edge, and both the front and back of the stone is visible. 
 
The pendant measures approx 25.6mm tall (not including the jump ring but including the ring at the top the jump ring attaches to) by approx 22.1mm in diameter by approx 3.8mm deep and weighs approx 4.2g in total.
 
Condition - The pendant is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear. There is wear to the hardstone and also to the gold frame. There are two '9ct' marks along the frame, one can be read but the other is partially worn so the '9' is no longer legible. There are what look to be solder and gold test marks along the frame where the gold differs in colour. The jump ring is currently pushed closed and is a dark metal colour, we have not tested this so it may not be 9ct gold. Please see photos.
