This vintage gold and enamel first baby charm would make a lovely present for someone welcoming their first child into the family! It is wonderfully detailed throughout and the pale blue enamel to the front is such a wonderful pop of colour.
The charm is made of 9ct yellow gold and has British hallmarks for imported 9ct gold, and the Birmingham assay mark. Without a date hallmark it's hard to date the charm exactly but we believe it's circa 1990s in age.
The charm measures approx 16.5mm tall (not including the jump rings) by approx 13.4mm wide by approx 3.7mm deep and weighs approx 1.45g.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show some signs of age and wear, including surface wear to the gold and enamel. The enamel is a little discoloured around the '1st' area. There are two gold jump rings which are currently soldered closed. Please see photos.
