We love searching for vintage and antique charms as you never know quite what you're going to find next. Just like this vintage gold and multi gemstone acrostic double heart charm! Set with seven gemstones, the first letter of each gem spells out a hidden message.
The gemstones are: Diamond, Emerald, Amethyst, Ruby, Emerald, Sapphire and Tourmaline, to make up the word 'DEAREST'.
The charm also features two hearts, the larger has been struck by Cupid's arrow.
The charm is made out of 9ct gold, with British hallmarks to the back for the maker 'GJ', 9ct gold, Birmingham and what looks to be the date letter 'R' for 1991.
The charm measures approx 13.1mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 15.4mm wide by approx 1.6mm deep and the charm weighs approx 0.85g in total.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear, including surface wear to the gold and gemstones. The jump ring is currently soldered closed. Please see photos.
