If you love your jewellery to be a little fierce then this is the piece for you! This vintage gold, diamond and emerald panther pendant would be perfect for a lover of felines, especially the big cat variety.
The pendant is made of 9ct gold and has wonderful details to the front. The cat is in a draped-like position, and the bail is attached to the cat's middle. The cat is set with an emerald eye and nine small glinting diamonds along its body with a white gold wash surrounding them too.
The pendant weighs approx 2.95g and measures approx 30.1mm tall (including the bail)) by approx 20.1mm wide by approx 4.9mm deep at its deepest point which is the head. The pendant is detailed to the front and the back is concave.
The bail is attached around the cat's middle and can move from left to right. The bail has British hallmarks for 9ct gold, the Sheffield Assay Office import hallmark and the date letter 'O' for 1988. There is also a maker's mark but it's a little worn to the top and hard to read clearly. The back of the cat is also marked '375' for 9ct gold.
Condition - The pendant is in good vintage condition but does show some signs of age, including some surface wear to the gold, diamonds and emerald. As mentioned above, the bail is attached around the cat's middle and can move from side to side. It is soldered closed. Please see photos.
