Calling all Aries babes, we have the perfect medallion for you! We love finding vintage Zodiac jewellery and this particular star sign charm is such a lovely rare and highly coveted one.
The charm/pendant is an original Paul Vincze zodiac medal beautifully detailed and made in 9ct gold. These original Paul Vincze medals are very hard to find these days, making them highly sought after!
The medallion is made of 9ct yellow gold and has British hallmarks on the back for the maker PV for Paul Vincze, 9ct gold, London and the date letter 'C' for 1977. The front is also marked P. Vincze too.
The charm has lovely raised detailing depicting the Aries star sign. The design has a lovely smooth and effortless style to it, a little reminiscent of Art Deco medallions.
The medallion weighs approx 5g and measures approx 22.3mm in diameter (approx 31.5mm tall including the jump ring) by approx 1.6mm deep.
Condition - The medallion shows signs of age including surface wear to the gold. There is wear to both the ring at the top of the charm and the jump ring where both have worn thin. The jump ring is currently pushed closed and has worn in two places. We have priced the medallion in accordance with this wear. The gold is yellow in tone in some places and rose/warm toned in others. There is what looks to be an old faint stock mark etched into the gold above the hallmark to the back. Please see photos.
