A fantastic addition to a talisman necklace or bracelet, this vintage heavy solid gold three wise monkeys charm is such a fun piece with incredible detailing - just look at those faces!
The charm is made of 9ct gold and is made up of three individual solid gold monkeys connected by a jump ring, each representing 'hear no evil', 'see no evil' and 'speak no evil'. One of the monkeys has British hallmarks for the back for what looks to be the maker 'EJLD', 9ct gold, Birmingham and the date letter 'Z' for 1974.
The charm has a lovely weight to it of approx 6g and each monkey measures approx 12mm tall by approx 7mm wide.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some surface wear to the gold. The three monkeys are connected to a soldered closed jump ring and then a further jump ring is connected to this and is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
