'No grit, no pearl.' We like to think that this vintage gold and pearl shell charm is a perfect wearable reminder that sometimes life knocks you down and you have to endure some rough patches but these only make you a stronger more beautiful human being in the process!
The charm has lovely detailing to both sides and features a pearl set in the shell.
The charm is made of 9ct gold and has British hallmarks for what looks to be the maker 'ACCO' (this mark is hard to make out due to the pattern on the shell), 9ct gold, what looks to be the London Assay Office mark (the hallmarks are a little hard to make out clearly due to the pattern on the shell) and the date letter 't' for 1974.
The charm weighs approx 1.95g and measures approx 14.6mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 17.4mm wide by approx 6.3mm deep.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear including surface wear to the gold and pearl. The jump ring is currently soldered closed and has an old dark solder mark to it. Please see photos.
