We love finding charms that move, and this vintage gold and enamel can can dancers charm can't help but make you smile when you move the lever at the back to make their legs high kick!
We love how detailed the charm is too, from the tiny gold dancers with enamel decoration to the curtains framing the stage.
The charm is made 9ct yellow gold with British hallmarks on the back for 9ct gold, London and the date letter 't' for 1974. There is also a maker's mark but this is now quite worn and hard to make out clearly.
The charm measures approx 16mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 12.5mm wide by approx 5.3mm deep (not including the level that sticks out at the back) and weighs approx 2.5g.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear, including surface wear to the gold and enamel with some enamel loss in places. The lever mechanism still works well. The jump ring is currently pushed closed and does show signs of age and wear. Please see photos.
