This sweet vintage gold jug charm could be an addition to your jewellery box to symbolise a variety of things. The jug, as a vessel, often represents containment and preservation and also symbolise the connection between human and divine, acting as vessels for life-giving water, spiritual grace, and sustenance.
The charm has British hallmarks to one side for the maker 'FM', 9ct gold, London and the date letter 'r' for 1972. The charm is hollow in the middle and has a seam line from when it was made.
The charm measures approx 20.5mm tall by approx 18mm wide (not including the jump ring) by approx 12.2mm deep and weighs approx 1.7g in total.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some signs of age and wear, including some surface wear and marks to the gold. The jump ring is currently pushed closed around the jug handle. Please see photos.
