We love a symbolic charm and this cat charm is just that! It's been made to represent the nursery rhyme 'Hey Diddle Diddle', in particular the second line 'The cat and the fiddle' - how incredibly sweet is that!?
This is the first we've ever found like it and we love that it could represent a child or perhaps you have particularly fond memories of this nursery rhyme from being a child.
The charm is made of 9ct yellow gold and has British hallmarks on the back for 9ct gold, London and the date letter 'q' for 1971. It is wonderfully detailed throughout - just look at that tiny fiddle and the little cat's cute face.
The charm weighs approx 2.4g and measures approx 23.2mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 13mm wide by approx 5.4mm deep.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition some light signs of age and wear, including some light surface wear to the gold. The jump ring is currently soldered closed. Please see photos.
*Please note the chain and box pictured are not included in the sale but the charm will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch.*
