These vintage gold glasses would be the perfect charm for someone known for their specs, or maybe you're a real sunglasses lover! Not only do they have wonderfully detailed frames, but the arms are hinged and even open out like a real pair too.
The charm has been made in a lovely three dimensional way, so it looks just like a real pair of glasses from all angles. The charm is made of 9ct yellow gold and has British hallmarks 9ct gold, Birmingham and what looks to be the date letter 'V' for 1970. Some of the hallmarks are now quite worn and hard to read clearly. Each arm of the glasses are also hallmarked for 9ct gold.
The charm weighs approx 2.5g and measures (when closed) approx 10.8mm tall by approx 36.5mm wide (not including the jump ring) by approx 4.1mm deep. When the arms are folded out, the charm measures approx 30mm deep.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some surface wear to the gold throughout. The hinges still work well and the arms click together to stay closed. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
*Please note the antique box and chain pictured are not included in the sale but the charm will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch.*
