How sweet and detailed is this vintage 1960s gold pheasant charm!? Pheasants are said to symbolise abundance and prosperity and even some traditions consider the birds to be a sign of good luck.
The charm is made of 9ct gold and has British hallmarks for 9ct gold, Birmingham and the date letter 'u' for 1969. There is also a maker's mark but it's hard to read clearly.
The charm measures approx 12.1mm in tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 22.8mm wide by approx 5mm deep and weighs approx 2.3g in total.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show signs of age and wear including some surface wear to the gold. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
*Please note the antique box and chain pictured are not included in the sale but the charm will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch.*
