This vintage gold charm represents the Household Cavalry which is part of the Household Division and is the King's official bodyguard. The charm is solid gold, making it quite heavy for its size and has wonderful enamel detail too in red white and black highlighting different parts of the uniform.

If you have visited London and have been to see Buckingham Palace, it's likely you've seen the Household Cavalry at work!

The charm is made of 9ct gold and has British hallmarks to the back for 9ct gold, London and the date letter 'n' for 1968.

The charm weighs approx 3.4g and measures approx 25.6mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 9.2mm wide by approx 7.5mm deep.

Condition - The charm does show significant signs of age and wear, particularly to the enamel which has worn away in a lot of places showing the gold underneath. Otherwise the charm is in good vintage condition. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.

*Please note the antique box and chain pictured are not included in the sale but the charm will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch*
