We love finding charms that move, and this vintage silver can can dancers charm can't help but make you smile when you move the lever at the back to make their legs high kick!
We love how detailed the charm is too, from the tiny dancers to the curtains framing the stage.
The charm is made sterling silver and has British hallmarks to the back for the maker 'BLD', the lion passant for sterling silver, London and the date letter 'l' for 1966. The charm looks to have been originally gold washed although this has now worn quite a lot.
The charm measures approx 17.5mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 15.6mm wide by approx 4.7mm deep and weighs approx 3.85g.
Condition - The charm is in used vintage condition and shows significant signs of age and wear, including surface wear and tarnishing to the silver. As mentioned above, the charm looks to have originally been gold washed but this has now worn away in places and rubbed away. The lever to the back looks to have snapped off, it is still possible to move the charm with what is left but it is tricky as it only just protrudes from the back of the charm. We have priced the char according to its condition. The jump ring is currently pushed closed and is silver in colour. Please see photos.
