We can't help but think of the famous line from Charlotte Brontë's, Jayne Eyre, 'I am no bird; and no net ensnares me' whenever we look at this vintage gold charm. An intricately detailed bell shaped cage with a tiny gold bird on a perch inside.
The charm is made of 9ct yellow gold and has British hallmarks for the maker 'HG&S', 9ct gold, Birmingham and the date letter 'Q' for 1965.
The charm weighs approx 2.3g and measuresn when closed approx 17.6mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 11.5mm wide by approx 11.2mm deep.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some surface wear to the gold. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
