We love how this vintage gold mermaid charm makes us think of days at the beach, swimming in the ocean. She has beautiful details, right down to her sassy pose with one hand on her hip and one hand in her flowing hair, her tail is even hinged in several places so it moves forwards and back slightly as if she can actually swim too!
The charm is made of 9ct gold, with British hallmarks on the tail for the maker 'GJLD', 9ct gold, London and what looks to be the date letter 'h' for 1963 (this mark is now a little worn). The jump ring is also hallmarked for 9ct gold.
The charm measures approx 41mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 12.5mm wide by approx 5.2mm deep and weighs approx 2.35g, the charm is hollow in the centre.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some signs of age and wear, including some light surface wear to the gold. All of her hinged sections move well. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
