This is probably one of the most unusual vintage gold charms we've ever come across! Shaped like a violin case, the charm is wonderfully detailed throughout, complete with a tiny gold handle, and opens to reveal a Tommy gun inside.
The charm is made of 9ct gold with British hallmarks to one side for the maker 'AJ LD', 9ct gold, London and the date letter 'h' for 1963.
The charm measures approx 26.8mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 15.2mm wide when closed by approx 6.6mm deep. The charm weighs approx 4.2g in total.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition but does show some signs of age and wear. There is some surface wear to the gold. The hinge mechanism still works well and the charm clicks securely closed. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. Please see photos.
*Please note the box and chain pictured are not included in the sale but the charm will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch.*
