This vintage gold little pair of scissors charm would make a great piece for a seamstress, hair dresser or animal groomer! Wonderfully detailed, the scissors are acutally hinged so they open and close too.
The charm is made of 9ct gold and have British hallmarks to one side for 9ct gold, London and the date letter 'h' for 1963. There is also a maker's mark but it's hard to read clearly.
The charm weighs approx 0.5g and measures approx 20.3mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 6mm wide by approx 1.1mm deep when closed.
Condition - The charm is in good vintage condition with some surface wear to the gold. The scissor blades pin is still quite stiff so they seem to stay in place when pushed closed or pulled open. The jump ring is currently pushed closed and has an old dark solder mark. Please see photos.
