We love finding swivel fobs to wear as pendants or within a charm collection. They make great fidget spinners!
This particular fob features a three sided cut piece of smoky quartz that has beautiful faceted detailing to the edges. It spins freely, held within a 9ct gold frame with a pretty ornate top.
The gold frame has British hallmarks for the maker 'FM', 9ct gold, London and the date letter 'h' got 1963.
Dependent on if the light is able to pass through the stone or if it is against a background does alter the colour of the quartz. We've tried to photograph the fob with both the light passing through and against backgrounds so you can see how it changes to the colour.
The fob weighs approx 5.5g in total and measures approx 25mm tall (not including the jump ring) by approx 25mm wide.
Condition - The fob is in well worn vintage condition and the smoky quartz now shows significant signs of age and wear. There is surface wear and scratches to the stone, the faceted edges also do have nibbles to them. One of the three sides does have a chip to it. The jump ring is currently pushed closed. We have priced the fob according to its well worn condition. Please see photos.
*Please note the antique chain and box pictured are not included in the sale but the fob will be shipped in a new presentation box and pouch.*
